Barbara Ann Corcoran
Barbara Ann Corcoran is an American businesswoman from America. The Corcoran Group is a New York City-based real estate brokerage. In 2001, the company was sold to NRT at $66 million. Corcoran resigned from the company shortly after. Corcoran was a participant in 12 episodes of ABC's Shark Tank seasons. Corcoran has been involved in 53 deals since February 2020. The largest was a $350,000 investment to cover 40% of Coverplay. Corcoran was the second in the family of 10 children who was born in Edgewater. Florence was her mother, who was an errand-taker. Edwin W. Corcoran Jr. Her father was always changing jobs during Corcoran’s life. The family relied on food delivered by a friendly local grocer for free food. Corcoran claims her father was a drunken man who did her mother a disservice and disrespect. Corcoran was a struggle in school and was later diagnosed with dyslexia. She went to an area Catholic elementary school, and then began high school in St. Cecilia High School in Englewood. Corcoran was absent from several classes in her first year before transferring to Leonia High School where she was an A student.
